Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Cancelled
An update from the Disney Parks Blog shows that this years Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been cancelled. The annual Halloween event usually runs from August until November but this years one will not take place.
Many of its hallmarks – stage shows, parades and fireworks – are unable to take place in this new, unprecedented environment. With that in mind, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
As well as this the H20 glow nights at Typhoon Lagoon has been cancelled for the remainder of 2020. All guests that had purchased ticket for these events will recieve a full refund.
In the same blog post, information on this years food and wine festival has been announced. This years iteration will be named “Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!” and run from July 15th until the fall, promising to be the longest event yet. The festival will feature 20 booths, including Hawaii, Hops & Barley and Islands of the Caribbean. The Eat to The Beat concert series will not be on this year but there will be musical acts within the America Gardens Theater to enjoy.
No word yet on the Epcot Festival of the Holidays or the Very Merry Christmas Party but Disney hope to have more information on those events at a later date.
