Halloween Horror Nights 2020 Cancelled

Halloween Horror Nights 30th Anniversary has been cancelled at Universal Orlando and in Hollywood

Halloween Horror Nights 2020 has been cancelled. The annual event was still scheduled to take place but it was announced today to team members that this year will not be happening. Auditions and construction had continued for this year but now efforts will be directed to next year.

A quote from the Universal Orlando team member website says:

Universal Orlando Resort will not hold our Halloween Horror Nights event this year and will be focusing exclusively on operating our theme parks for daytime guests, using the enhanced health and safety procedures already in place. I know this news is disappointing especially since this year we would be celebrating HHN’s 30th anniversary. I am disappointed too, but this is the right decision for our Guests and our Team Members.

The event in Hollywood is also not taking place this year. This is the first time the event has not taken place since it started in 1991. The 30th year will now take place in 2021.

We understand it must have been a difficult decision to cancel our favorite event and look forward to getting back into the fog next year.
