Below is a breakdown of the entrance areas to the planned London Resort which was shown during the Blooloop V Expo. Outside of the park will be an entertainment hub with restaurants, bars and live music venues along the “main street” which will not require park access.
An early 3D look at the entrance way was shown at Blooloop V-Expo highlighting all the different offerings planned to be outside of the actual Theme Park. These include an Innoventions style display, E-Sports Arena, Convention Center, Shops, Restaurants and multiple hotels. The entrance will be covered in a unique way with a roof that looks like birds flying over head.
Each entrance area features a dome, one of which will have a hole in the center to allow rain in as a fun and a tree in the center. The “main street” style entrance will be located outside of the ticketed area of the park to allow visitors to shop, eat and play without the need to enter the Theme Park.
The Resort plans to use a variety of public transport to bring guests to the area. Those arriving by boat will then take electric vehicles to reach the parks main street.
London Resort CEO Pierre-Yves Gerbeau who helped turn around the Millennium Dome Experience and Disneyland Paris wants to prove skeptics of the project wrong, hopefully that it will indeed happen. The London Resort is looking to bring a US Style Customer Service entertainment oriented resort to the UK, using the latest technology within the resort built incorporated from the ground up.
Plans will be submitted for the project within the next 8 weeks starting the long approval process. If successful the first phase is hoped to be completed by 2024.
