SeaWorld Opening Date of June 11th


Today SeaWorld proposed an opening date to the The Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. The date they are set to resume operation is June 11th for the public.

The Interim CEO of SeaWorld Marc Swanson, Kyle Miller the president of SeaWorld Orlando and Brad Gilmour the vice president of Operations put forth the plan to the task force. If the plan is approved it moves to approval from the Orlando Mayor and the Governor of Florida.

*Update* Approval was granted by The Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. It not moves up to the Mayor and Governor.

Proposed Timeline

Opening June 10th for an Employee appreciation night.

Open to the public June 11th.

Guidelines

  • Face Coverings – Employees and guests aged 2 and up.
  • Physical Distancing – Ground markings, contact less payments,Plexi-glass installed.
  • Increased cleaning and sanitation
  • Employee and guests temperature screening
  • Certain tours will be one party at a time
  • Single direction guest walk flow in some areas
  • Single riders lines removed
